Board Duties:
Secretary


General Description

The Secretary is responsible for maintaining all chapter records of meetings and communicating that data to the appropriate members and other interested individuals.

Term

Two year term (elected in the even years). The Secretary may run for up to two consecutive terms.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities


Duties for the Secretary include, but are not limited to:  


  • Record and publish minutes from all board meetings in a timely manner

  • Assure that the minutes from any prior meeting are available for review and approval at all board meetings

  • Work with the membership chair to maintain the ICRID membership list

  • Send current membership listing (names only) to RID Director of Member Services & Region Representative October 1st and April 1st

  • Attend all board meetings, Annual Conferences, and special meetings as necessary

  • Send corrected minutes to the appropriate person for posting on the website in a timely manner

  • Send corrected minutes to the RID Director of Member Services & Region Representative in a timely manner

  • Changes in contact information for any of the following sent to the RID Director of Member Services & Region Representative as it occurs:

    • AC Mailing Address

    • AC Board of Directors (Names, Addresses, Positions, Term expirations)

    • AC Newsletter Editor (Name, Address)

    • AC CMP Coordinator (Name, Address)

  • Keep an official archive of minutes and all meetings during term, to be given to successor
