I can't offer any
explanation at this time but for some reason there has been a major delay in
Mary getting the next issue of INSsights done & sent out to the membership. I
believe she has sent at least a copy to Judy to proof but I have yet to
receive anything. Needless to say this delay is aggravating and Judy & I will
stay on top of this and see that Mary keeps on schedule.

NEW
Business:
-
Goshen
College Request for funds –Goshen College is encouraging statewide
membership by offering a discount to ICRID members for Goshen College workshop
and seminar participants. This may provide extra incentive for persons to join
ICRID if there are discounts available to workshops.
Myron Yoder has submitted a proposal for ICRID to support four
workshops this year. The board may consider adding
Goshen
College as a line item. Before agreeing to the funding support the board
would like to see a more detailed budget analysis for the workshop. This will
help the board ensure that donated funds will not be lost to the college’s
general education funds. Myron’s request will be tabled until he provides more
detailed budget information.
-
Board
Meeting Email Alert to Membership -
Tracy
suggested sending the meeting agenda to the general membership before the
board meetings to encourage membership participation. Tracey would like
to see ALL events that are posted on the ICRID website to
be easily accessed possibly categorized by date/month
She also suggested a letter to make people aware of board nominations for the
fall..
Tracey suggested placing the board nomination information in the next
Newsletter.
