11:40 am Meeting called to order.
Welcome and introductions by Dave Calvert.

Discussion of minutes Spelling and grammatical corrections made.
Motion to accept minutes as corrected. Seconded.
Passed.

Treasurer's Report
Balance as of 1/31/01- $2575.31
Earnings - $500.00
Expenditures- $316.25
Balance for February- $2759.06

We have not yet received February's bank statement. There may be a $10.00 service fee. $4000.00 Moore Foundation Grant deposited on 3-01-01.
Lynn made a motion to accept report as read with the stipulation that the $10.00 service fee may be applied to bank statement at a later date. Nancy seconded.
Passed.

Committee Reports

*Annual Meeting- Judy Cain
*Letter has been sent to Greg Gantt at Sprint for financial assistance. Committee working on presenters. Antonette will send presenter's form to Brenda Chafin
Seal. Schedule change- Business meeting will be on Friday
night of AM. Will confirm with Keith Cagle this week Brenda Cartwright is not sure if she can attend as Keynote speaker yet. Crowne Plaza will send contract.
Letter sent to Indianapolis Foundation Grant. Drafting letters to be sent to Indiana interpreting agencies asking for financial contributions to offset costs. Date for Annual Meeting set for Nov 9-10,2001. Checked with Crowne Plaza, exhibitors are permitted. We will charge $50.00 per table for Saturday only. SLICES only allots $500.00 per event. Application can be found on website. WWW.stkate.edu. Stipulation that grants cannot be used for k-12, legal, or religious workshops.

Fundraising
*$4000.00 received from Moore Foundation Grant for ASR.
*Profits from ASR are disbursed through budget as needed.
*Still waiting on State Grant BAA. Original approval was for $16,500.00
*Region V Project Waubonsee Grant of $3000.00 was received last year. This has been changed to SLICES.
*Applying for 2-3 additional grants since this year's AM will cost ~$15,000.00

Membership

Newsletter
Flyers for ASR sent out this week. Newsletters will be sent out soon.

ASR
*Kim Westbrook will cater.
*Bethel College student reps will help.
*Need help delivering leftovers to mission.
*In need of Deaf storytellers.
*Workshops will be in dorm.
*Working on raffle items.

CMP/PDC
*Discussion on CEU breakdowns for 2000. Need to hear monthly report on PDC.
Put on agenda for next meeting. Place form in newsletter to get membership to respond with input for workshops.

Old Business
*Discussion regarding how to allocate incoming funds where needed within budget.
*PTCO Day is May 6, 2001, from 11am-5pm at the ISD. Antonette made motion to allocate $40.00 for ICRID tables at PTCO Day. Judy seconded. Passed.
