Annual Conference |
- Solicit and assist event chairs with all aspects of the Annual Meeting/Conference
- Plan the business meeting with the President’s input
- Solicit and secure presenters/venues.
- Complete presenter contracts.
- Negotiate rates/terms.
- Secure equipment needs.
- Submit proposed conference budget and final recapitulation to Ways and Means Committee.
- Advertise workshops, following RID guidelines.
- Make sure all CEU paperwork is completed and submitted by CMP coordinator following deadlines.
- Secure all funds to ICRID treasurer as received.
- Workshop evaluations completed, collected and compiled.
- Solicit and organize exhibitors and silent auction items
- Recruit and organize support staff to help work during conference
- Arrange food and entertainment for conference
- Report all AM/Conference and CEU activity to ICRID board through AM chair/board liaison

Awards & Scholarships |
- Inform membership of available Awards and Scholarships and application/nomination process through newsletter, website and list serves.
- Receive and process award applications/nominations following necessary criteria (see Award details).
- Arrange for awards/plaques/certificates to made (Bardach Trophy on 86th Street, Indianapolis).
- Present awards at the Annual Meeting.

Educational Interpreter Issues |
- Identify Educational Interpreters (EI’s) in Indiana.
- Demographics
- Develop an action plan to address needs.
- Support group/listserve
- Assist PDC with planning workshops for EI’s.
- Plan and provide in-service training to school administrations about the role and duties of EI’s.
- Develop and maintain an EI webpage on ICRID website.
- Compile resources and keep them updated on website.
- Develop a directory of EI’s for networking.

Fundraising |
- Search and locate possible sources for funding
- Inform membership and community of fundraising in newsletter, website, and listserves.
- Solicit and assist chairs for fundraising events
- Seek and write grants to receive funding for ICRID
- Prepare all required paperwork, reports and follow up
- Follow up with appropriate thank you correspondence to grantors

Historical |
- Gather ICRID history from any/all sources available.
- Compile ICRID history into usable format.
- Develop and maintain a history webpage on the ICRID website

Membership |
- Maintain an updated list of members in good standing and send to
- ICRID Secretary (as needed)
- RID National Office, Director of Member Services (names only, Oct 1st and April 1st)
- Region III Representative (names only, Oct 1st and April 1st)
- Make and send out updated membership cards.
- Send letter to new members detailing membership benefits.
- Send reminder notices after renewal dates have passed.
- Generate mailing labels for newsletters and other mailings.
- Mail copy of each newsletter to:
- RID National Office, Director of Member Services
- Region III Representative
- Region III Presidents
- Region III Newsletter Editors

- Produce ‘Insights’ Newsletter every other month.
- Solicit articles and advertisements
- Edit each issue before printing
- Follow deadlines.
- Print, copy, collate, fold, address, stamp, mail newsletter (Fed-Ex Kinko’s).
- Report to ICRID Board through board liaison.

CMP Sponsor |
Processes requests for CEUs for any sponsored workshops as well as member initiated indedpendent studies, academic coursework, participant initiated non-RID activities. Submits necessary paperwork for each type of activity to the national office to ensure CEUs are creditied to member's transcripts. |
Ways and Means |
- Prepare annual budget.
- Assist with any and all audits of the funds.
- Assist treasurer in making sure all monies are in order.
- Receive the proposed budged and final recapitulation forms from each event and process the information to the budget.
- Assist the treasurer with filing all IRS Tax forms within the deadlines.

- Maintain the ICRID Website by posting and updating information pertinent to ICRID.
