ICRID
is a non-profit organization of professional interpreters,
consumers,
and
persons interested in interpreting within the
deaf community. ICRID
is a state
chapter of the national Registry
of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Indiana
Chapter (ICRID) of RID, Inc. to provide regional, state, and local forums
and an organizational structure for the continued growth and development
of the professions of interpretation
and transliteration of American Sign
Language.
Goal Statement
It is the goal of ICRID to promote the profession of interpreting and
transliteration of American Sign Language and English.
